Summer Has Arrived At Quail’s Covey Bed And Breakfast

An update from Quail’s Covey Bed and Breakfast…

Yippee! Summer has arrived and the trees surrounding Quail’s Covey are full and lush. The property is radiant with so many greens. Right next door, Quail Hollow Park is host to many trails where one can enjoy a walk through the woods.

This is my favorite time of year. All of the flower gardens are planted and everything has bloomed beautifully. We are ready for all our guests to enjoy “nature at it’s best”!

Yesterday, our guests enjoyed a real treat. While the guest was loading his car, getting ready to leave, there was a mother deer nursing her fawn. The guest came around the front of the house to get his wife so she could see them, but she was already watching another mother deer and her newborn fawn enjoying a walk beside our garden. It is such a treat every time I see the deer. They are such beautiful creatures.

I also enjoy watching the wild turkeys and the oh-so-many birds. It is a joy to hear all the birds singing early in the morning. While taking in all the blessings here at Quail’s Covey, our guests enjoy relaxing on your private balcony, sipping coffee or tea as they watch the swans and ducks on the lake.

If the weather permits, breakfast is served outside on the deck or in the wicker filled sunroom. The hummingbirds are often perched on the solar lights of the deck as they take their turns at the feeder. They will make you smile!
