History Talk: First Ladies’ Fashion

First ladies are fashion trendsetters. Think about huge hoop skirts and bustles to pillbox hats and purses. We’ll use our knowledge of iconic first lady looks to create first fashion rubbing plates.

From Jackie Kennedy’s pillbox hat to Nancy Reagan’s trademark red, first ladies are fashion trendsetters. We’ll take a look at some clothing designs from the past, from huge hoop skirts and bustles to pillbox hats and purses.  We’ll use our new knowledge of iconic first lady looks to create cool first lady fashion rubbing plates and collages.
