Cross-country ski or snowshoe Quail Hollow Park’s gently rolling terrain of meadows, woods and bridle trails. Skiing is permitted on all 9 trails when the ground is frozen. Optimal skiing occurs when snow is over 3″.
Sign up for Winter Activity Alerts on the Stark Park website to be alerted when trails can be skied.
If proper weather conditions (3 to 4 inches of snow) are present, an email will be sent with open rental hours. Registration is not needed, all rentals are first come, first serve.
Snowshoes, skis, and poles can be rented or bring your own.
Skis: $20 for first time rental each season, $10 for returning renters. All rentals are 2 hours. Cash or Check. Ages 12 and up.
Snowshoes: Registration is first come, first-served. $10 rental for two hours. Snowshoe hike guided programs may also occur if scheduling and conditions allow.
Sledders also enjoy the small hill by the manor house!
