Lake Township will be home to a variety of programs for children this summer. From volleyball to vacation bible school, kids are bound to find fun at a camp in their own community. Summer camps for children will be occurring all over town, for all ages and interests. The Lake Community YMCA’s Summer Day Camps run from the week of June 2nd to the week of August 11th; you may choose the days or weeks of attendance. You might have done a double take passing one of the “Weird Animals” signs throughout town. These colorful posters lead way to the upcoming Vacation Bible Schools right here in Lake. Hartville Mennonite Church will host the Weird Animals and your little animal between 4-years-old to 5th grade June 8th-12th from 6pm-8:15pm at Lake Center Christian School.weird-animals-vbs-logo-hi-res-1024x570
United Methodist Church of Uniontown’s Vacation Bible School will host children of all ages July 21st-25th and a VBS Performance scheduled for July 27th with a carnival picnic to follow.

With such incredible performance during the school year, it’s truly a treat for Lake Local Schools to provide an opportunity to stay involved with the arts in the summer through the Performing Arts Summer Spectacular Camp.  PASS Camp is for students entering 7th grade through High PASS CampSchool graduates who will be a part of singing, dancing, audition technique, improvisation, and ensemble building workshops.
