Art

Summer Art Camps at Pegasus Farm

  • 3-D Art and Sculpture Session #1: June 10, 12, 14 | Session #2: June 24, 26, 28
  • Painting July 8, 10, 12
  • Pottery Session #1: July 22, 24, 26| Session #2: August 5, 7, 9

Three day art camps for ages 8-18 run from 9:30am-noon. Students have the option to enroll in all the camps or just those of particular interest. The camps are open to children of all abilities, although some eligibility criteria is established for each program. Art Club at Lake Center Christian School
Art comes alive as students have the opportunity to explore multiple art mediums or choose to focus on favorites! Each club meets once a week for 60 minutes the weeks of 6/17-19, 6/24-26, 7/8-10, 7/15-19. Cost is $40 per club. {More Info}

Art Camps at Lake YMCA
Bring your creativity to this week-long art immersion camp! Campers will explore different techniques and create works of art to be displayed in an art show at the end of the week in the front lobby of the YMCA. This camp is offered for campers entering grades 1–2 the week of July 8th and for campers entering grades 3-8 the week of July 29th. {More Info}

PASS Camp
Performing Arts Summer Spectacular is a unique five-week intensive camp for students in grades 7-12 that culminates in performances of Seussical Jr.

NEW THIS YEAR:  For kids who are interested in learning about the technical side of theatre, we will be offering workshops where students will learn to design sound, lighting, scenery, and props.  They will be taught how to use each piece of equipment, and will be given opportunities to operate the equipment during the show.

Camp dates: July 9 – Aug 11 from 1-5pm (Monday-Thursday)

Rivertree Lake
June 17th-21st 5:30-8pm. Kids discover that even though life gets wild, God is good. Roar is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Your kids will also participate in team building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life. Day Camps & More

YMCA Summer Day Camp 
Summer Day Camp is being offered at the Lake Community YMCA for children entering 1st-8th grade. Each week has a theme, crafts and activities planned, fun games, and a field trip! Camp starts on Monday, June 10th and runs through Friday, August 16th. Part time and full time rates are available for camp and you can pick and choose the weeks you want your camper to attend! Summer at Adventure Place
Adventure Place offers a summer child care program for school aged children. Each week of summer has a different theme allowing the teacher to present the children with endless opportunities.
